13.8. – 14.8.2022\u00a0\u00a0
Nach dem Dempster HWY machen wir noch einmal Stopp in Dawson bevor wir den Top of the World HWY angehen. Mit der F\u00e4hre gehts \u00fcber den Yukon und dann Richtung Alaska. Eine gute Gravelroad f\u00fchrt durch eine traumhafte Landschaft. Vor mehr als 20 Jahren sind wir diese Stra\u00dfe schon mit den Motorr\u00e4dern gefahren, allerdings bei Regen. Bei Sonnenschein ist es nat\u00fcrlich viel sch\u00f6ner. Damals war es noch nicht so touristisch und die Roadh\u00e4user hatten einen anderen Flair. Wir \u00fcberqueren die Grenze nach Alaska und lassen die Zollformalit\u00e4ten \u00fcber uns ergehen.
Auch Chicken hat sich ver\u00e4ndert. Das kleine Cafe von damals wurde neu gebaut mit gro\u00dfem Verkaufsraum und Souvenirshop. Nur die Tankstelle steht immer noch am Schotter. Wir schauen uns noch die alte Gold Dredge an, dann gehts weiter Richtung Tok. Auf der Strecke bemerken wir, dass die Jagdsaison begonnen hat. Entlang der Strecke stehen immer wieder die Pick Ups mit Anh\u00e4nger f\u00fcr die ATVs. Die ATVs sind mit Gewehrhaltern ausgestattet bzw. haben die Fahrer die Gewehre umgeh\u00e4ngt.
Wir kommen auch an einigen Goldgr\u00e4bercamps vorbei. Kurz nach Tok finden wir einen sch\u00f6nen Lagerplatz im Wald.
Am n\u00e4chsten Tag reisen wir wieder nach Kanada ein und fahren nach Whitehorse.<\/p>\n
