Mittags ist unser Landy endlich fertig und wir verstauen unser Gep\u00e4ck im Heck. Dann gehts los. Die Kupplung geht anfangs schwer, das Schalten ebenfalls. Ich hoffe das wird besser.
Wir fahren nach Spencers Island auf einen Platz auf dem wir schon 2006 einmal waren. Damals war der Platz fast leer, diesmal stehen lauter gro\u00dfe RV’s am Platz. Der Tidenhub ist hier \u00fcber 10m und der Platz wird bei High-Tide zur Halbinsel.
Hier wurde auch die Mary Celeste gebaut, jenes Schiff, das als Geisterschiff bekannt wurde. Bei Ebbe sieht man noch Reste der alten Steganlagen.
Wir r\u00e4umen unseren Landy jetzt von „Verschiffung“ auf „Reisebetrieb“ um.
Da wir viel Zeit verloren haben gehts am n\u00e4chsten Tag weiter Richtung Cape Hopewell. Hier betr\u00e4gt der Tidenhub 16m. Wir kommen bei Ebbe an und wandern am Meeresgrund. Leider ist dieser Punkt jetzt ein Touristenmagnet und es laufen viele Kanadier hier herum.
Die Meeresstr\u00f6mungen haben hier am Cape besondere Felsformationen geschaffen. Die n\u00e4chste Flut ist erst am Abend und somit f\u00e4llt Kayakfahren flach.
Wir fl\u00fcchten vor dem Massenauflauf und fahren weiter Richtung New Brunswick\/Fredricktown.<\/p>\n
