Von Truro aus geht es weiter Richtung New Glasgow und K\u00fcste. Im kleinen Fischerhafen Arsaig laufen gerade die Krabbenfischer ein und bringen ihren Fang an Land. Von jedem Fischer werden eine gewisse Anzahl von Hummer Weibchen aussortiert welche zur Zucht verwendet werden.
Der kleine Leuchtturm ist nicht mehr in Betrieb. N\u00e4chstes Ziel ist der Leuchtturm von Cape George. Auf der Strecke hierher muss ich eine Vollbremsung machen da mir ein Wapiti vor das Auto l\u00e4uft. Die Bremsen funktionieren wirklich gut :-). Der Leuchtturm von Cape George steht auf einem H\u00fcgel \u00fcber dem Meer. Von hier aus kann man Prinz Edward Island sehen. In Antigonish frischen wir unsere Vorr\u00e4te auf und gehen auf einen Kaffee.
Wir entschlie\u00dfen uns weiter Richtung Cape Breton zu fahren und finden in Port Hood das letzte freie Zimmer.
Sicherheitshalber buchen wir \u00fcber Internet f\u00fcr den n\u00e4chsten Tag ein Motel in Baddeck. F\u00fcr die darauffolgenden Tage haben wir wegen des Canada-Day bereits fr\u00fcher gebucht.
Wir bummeln der K\u00fcste entlang, fahren mit einigen Pausen Richtung Baddeck. Hier trinken wir zuerst einmal einen Kaffee und besuchen dann das Graham Bell Museum.
Dass Graham Bell das Telefon erfand war uns bekannt. Er war sehr vielseitig und einige seiner Erfindungen wie Flugzeuge und Hydrofoils werden in diesem Museum gezeigt.
