Die F 88 ist offen! Unsere Vorr\u00e4te sind aufgef\u00fcllt, der Tank voll, es kann losgehen. Die Landschaft wechselt st\u00e4ndig, wir sind total begeistert. Herdubreid hebt sich markant von der Gegend ab. Immer wieder m\u00fcssen wir furten. Bei einer Furt ist sich Walter nicht sicher und geht zuerst einmal durch. Bei diesen Temperaturen ist er nicht zu beneiden. Aber es geht sich aus, wir k\u00f6nnen weiter. Die Lavaw\u00fcste wechselt st\u00e4ndig ihr Gesicht, die Piste ebenso. Das Fahren ist total lustig hier. Die Piste zum Parkplatz der Askja ist nur ein St\u00fcck befahrbar, es geht durch hohe Schneew\u00e4nde, irgendwann ist Schluss. Ich koche noch schnell einen hei\u00dfen Tee, dann wandern wir los. Unser Ziel ist der Kratersee. Der gro\u00dfe Kratersee ist zugefroren, der kleine ist mit warmen Wasser gef\u00fcllt und offen. Theoretisch k\u00f6nnte man darin baden. Aber bei der Schneelage gibt es keine M\u00f6glichkeit hinunterzukommen. Au\u00dferdem bricht jetzt ein Schneesturm los und wir m\u00fcssen schauen, dass wir den Weg zur\u00fcck wieder finden.<\/span>
Die Wanderung durch die Schlucht zur Lavah\u00f6hle ist leider nicht m\u00f6glich, der Bach ist zu hoch und wir fahren weiter. Die Piste Richtung S\u00fcden ist noch immer gesperrt.<\/span><\/p>\n
